It was with great sadness that we heard of Donald's passing - many current and ex CGG colleagues wished to voice their condolences having spent a great deal of time with him on projects on the Dutch and German coastal waters, the Chiemsee in Bavaria, Nigeria, Azerbaijan and many other countries and lakes and seas. Myself, Joe Wearmouth and Keith Hawden made it to Roucan Lough for the ceremony ..but many others wished to pass their sympathy to his family.

As so fondly mentioned in the eulogy he could be stubborn and argumentative but was a delight to spend time with - the penny whistle ever present on the crews that kept us entertained - and his love of his roots - he will be missed but the memories will last forever
